A word from the Chairman

At the 38th edition of Airexpo, ISAE-SUPAERO and ENAC students continued to inspire visitors of all ages. Their tireless work and the magical weather did credit to this prestigious meeting. Once again this year, France's third-largest airshow will seek to reinvent itself, to guarantee an extraordinary show that we hope will convey our passion for aeronautics. Since the dawn of time, the idea of conquering the skies has driven men and women the world over, constantly pushing aviation towards new horizons. At the end of the 19th century, Clément Ader, visionary and pioneer of aviation, played a major role in making this dream a reality. His daring technical quest laid the foundations for a revolution that would change the world with the first prototype aircraft: the Éole. Today, the skies are a playground for aeronautical enthusiasts, and modern aircraft cross continents and oceans with ease. To celebrate this grandiose evolution, we've chosen the theme: «From Clément Ader's dreams to modern aviation». We'll be retracing the history of aircraft, from the most emblematic models to the most modern machines, with aerial demonstrations highlighting the progress of this adventure, both human and technological. Our passion and determination drive us to pass on the spirit of aeronautics, especially to the younger generation, just as our predecessors have done since 1987, when the airshow was created. Through this year's event, we hope to share with them and all our visitors the diversity and richness of this often little-known but always fascinating field. We hope that as many people as possible will join us in this adventure. This year, more than ever, we need your help to make the 39th edition of Airexpo a success.
